Dear Families…

Welcome to a brand-new school year! I’m absolutely thrilled to kick off another exciting year with our students, staff, and families. I’m also happy to introduce our new Assistant Principal, Mrs. Cody Piland! We’re excited to have her join our Eagle Family and bring her passion and experience to our school community.

Here are a few important reminders to ensure a smooth and safe start:

School Hours

  • Students are expected to be on campus from 8:50 a.m. to 3:35 p.m.
  • Our Morning Show begins promptly at 9:10 a.m.—please make sure your child arrives on time.

Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up

  • Our pick-up line handles around 200 cars each day—thank you for your patience!
  • The parent pick-up line does not open until 3:00 p.m. Vehicles should not line up before then to help avoid traffic and safety issues.
  • In case of severe weather or lightning, students will remain indoors until it is safe to dismiss.
  • Please ensure your parent pick-up tag is clearly displayed.

Dismissal Changes

  • All changes must be submitted in writing.
  • The deadline for changes is 1:00 p.m. daily.
  • Students will not be dismissed from the front office after 3:15 p.m.

I’m looking forward to a fantastic year of growth, learning, and partnership. If you have any questions, concerns, or positive feedback, feel free to call me at 352-726-2632.

Let’s make it our best year yet!

Mrs. Merchant
